BOARD OF DIRECTORS

David McSweeney - Chairman Non-Executive Director

David McSweeney holds a Bachelor of Law degree and is a member of the Institute of Company Directors, with 20 years experience in the resource sector ranging from exploration to project management, project finance, commercial and legal structuring and corporate development. David McSweeney is Managing Director and founder of Avalon Minerals and also a Director of Bauxite Resources Limited and Executive Chairman.

Peter McSweeney - Managing Director

Peter McSweeney is a qualified Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years experience in the development of resource projects both in Australia and overseas. In recent years Peter has extensively been involved in senior project management roles through MSP in the development of a number of significant Greenfield projects both in Australia and offshore.

SENIOR MANAGEMENT

Mr Tony Sheard – Chief Financial Officer / Company Secretary

Tony Sheard holds a B.Comm, MBA and Grad Dip in Applied Finance and Investment, and is a Fellow of both CPA Australia and FINSIA. Tony Sheard has held senior financial roles in the resources and engineering sector for over 20 years.

Mike Kitney - Principal Process Engineer

Mike Kitney holds qualifications in extractive process engineering and mineral economics, with senior roles in Minproc Engineering and over 30 years experience in the design, construction management and commissioning of bulk material handling facilities.

Jeff Welch – Principal Design Manager (Structural / Mechanical)

Jeff Welch has over 30 years experience in all facets of civil, structural and mechanical design, project management and construction work throughout Australia and overseas.

Scott Bonser – Principal Design Manager (Electrical)

Scott Bonser has over 20 years experience in providing electrical design and project implementation management services to the resource and mining sector.

Daren Tetley – Project Manager

Daren Tetley has over 15 years experience in frontline construction and site supervision roles in structural, mechanical and piping disciplines.

Sarah McLeod – Manager Human Resources / Administration

Sarah McLeod has over 9 years experience in HR, QA and administration management.
